How do you get that taste of luxury while spending precious time with family and friends at an affordable price? Still Tours Scotland knows the answer and today they ask that you take a wee dram to celebrate the launch of their website www.stilltoursscotland.com on 15 May, 2020.
Their virtual whisky and gin-tastings are proving to be extremely popular and that has exceeded even their own expectations, said Still Tours business development manager Lucinda Craig. “We deliver the whisky from Ellon Whisky Shop to people's doorstep and the experience is shared live via Zoom”.
Lucinda agrees that great things happen when people focus their thoughts and energy into having a great experience. Ellon Whisky Shop and Still Tours are a family run company, set in the picturesque town of Ellon, Aberdeenshire, lying on the River Ythan. Still Tours Scotland evolved from customers asking in the Ellon Whisky Shop whether they arranged whisky distillery tours. “They had a lot of customer feedback asking for an ultimate whisky tour experience, so we decided to go for it.”
Still Tours Scotland started with their tailored tours and events in February 2020 and feedback has been very encouraging. For example, customers have said that our tour was a “very cool experience with great people and great whisky.”
Still Tours Scotland has already attracted over a thousands followers on various social media platforms.

Still Tours has specialised in organising tailored events to suit individual and corporate preferences. They offer an opportunity to visit over 120 distilleries all over Scotland. What makes them unique is the way it's done, the way the phenomenal national drink is incorporated into the tour or event. “It's not just about whisky. It's about Scotland, our people and culture. We aim to give you Scotland as authentically and luxuriously as possible.” explained Lucinda and confirmed that castles and activities can be incorporated into the tours. “We provide a diverse whisky or gin tasting experience. We conduct our business ethically while providing a premium quality service with everybody's safety in mind.” Within a year or two, Lucinda hopes to develop their VIP travel in style and to increase the online demand for virtual whisky & gin tasting sessions.
Meanwhile, Still Tours Scotland and Ellon Whisky Shop organise regular quizzes via social media and provide gift incentives to their top fans and online tasting sessions. During these trouble times Still Tours Scotland have been helping the elderly in the Ellon area by distributing small food parcels. “We are just trying to do our bit to help our local community during the Covid-19 outbreak. Helping the elderly and vulnerable is the least that we can try to do at the minute” said Lucinda Craig.
As soon as it's safe to resume, dates for regular tours will be provided. Until then follow their story on social media and aim to become a top fan for the chance to win an amazing prizes!
